{"id":303,"date":"2009-03-19T22:00:29","date_gmt":"2009-03-20T04:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/trailmoto.com\/?page_id=303"},"modified":"2009-03-19T22:00:29","modified_gmt":"2009-03-20T04:00:29","slug":"steel-hollow","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/trailmoto.com\/?page_id=303","title":{"rendered":"Steel Hollow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Steel Hollow is yet another beautiful canyon that&#8217;s a lot of fun to ride.\u00c2\u00a0 Make sure you know where you&#8217;re going at the beginning, the head of this trail is also the beginning of Ricks and Willow Creek trails, neither of which are open to motorized vehicles.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Length: 4 miles<\/li>\n<li>Difficulty: There are a few switchbacks and decent climbs with one section where you have to maneuver around on the edge of a cliff.\u00c2\u00a0 It&#8217;s fine for beginners if you take it slow on the hard sections.\u00c2\u00a0 This was my wife&#8217;s second ride ever.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Driving directions to trailhead:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Drive up Logan Canyon -&gt; take the Right Hand Fork road until you get to the fork in the road right before Camp Lomia -&gt; take the left fork and go until you reach the end of the road turnabout.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GPS Coordinates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parking and Trailhead: <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?f=q&amp;source=s_q&amp;hl=en&amp;geocode=&amp;q=N41+46.502+W111+36.588&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;ll=41.775032,-111.609799&amp;spn=0.001294,0.002832&amp;t=h&amp;z=19&amp;iwloc=addr\" target=\"_blank\">N41 46.502 W111 36.588<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Top of the trail: <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?f=q&amp;source=s_q&amp;hl=en&amp;geocode=&amp;q=N41+44.732+W111+33.315&amp;sll=41.74555,-111.55525&amp;sspn=0.000647,0.001416&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;ll=41.745533,-111.55525&amp;spn=0.000647,0.001416&amp;t=h&amp;z=20&amp;iwloc=addr\" target=\"_blank\">N41 44.732 W111 33.315<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Combo\/Loop opportunities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, there is a lot of road between the top of this trail and other single track options.\u00c2\u00a0 If you take a right at the top you can go all the way back around and come down Cowley Canyon back to the Girl&#8217;s camp and parking.\u00c2\u00a0 If you take a left, you can loop around and come back down BtC, or you can go all the way around and go North to Worm\/Turkey\/Lil&#8217;
